A NEW restaurant serving Nepalese food is set to open in the Lion and Fiddle pub, Hilperton, on Saturday November 12.
The grand opening will take place at 1pm when the mayor of Trowbridge, Linda Self, will be in attendance to officially mark it.
It will be run by Radna Rana, 49, who took over the reins of the pub in June and owns two other restaurants in the UK which both serve Nepalese food.
He said: “People should come along to the restaurant as we will be serving tasty, authentic food which is a little bit different to what people might be used to.
“My two other restaurants are very popular so I hope this one can be as well.
“I’m looking forward to bringing the tastes of Nepal to Hilperton.”
